Environmental pollution is one of the biggest problems in the world. People all around the world learn about it but there isn’t any significant change. The greenhouse effect causes the increasing of the temperature. Warm light goes in the environment but can’t go out because of the atmosphere. This is called the greenhouse effect. It causes many problems, such as acid rain, warm-up and the meltdown of the ice caps in the Antarctic and Antarctica. Warmer weather melts the ice caps, therefore ice turns into water, so there’ll be tsunamis. Animals at the poles won’t have space to live and they’ll endanger. Global warming is taught all around the world. There’re lots of presentations by instructors about how to protect the area where we live. Teachers tell advice about how to be environment-friendly. They advise hybrid cars which run on electricity. It doesn’t provide carbon-dioxide (CO2) or carbon-monoxide (CO). While vehicles which run on petrol provide dangerous gases. People prefer collecting paper, plastic, glass in containers because most of it’ll be recycled. It’s worth using renewable energy resources for example solar energy for heating at home, and the overhead won’t be that much. I’ve seen many houses heated by solar energy, although it’s quite an expensive technology. To be honest, using renewable energy resources instead of fossil energy resource is very environment-friendly. As I’ve mentioned fossil energy provides CO2 and CO which destroy the Ozone-layer. The Ozone-layer protect us from the ultraviolet radiation from the Sun. Ultraviolet radiation can cause skin cancer and other diseases. People are advised not to spend too much time on the Sun, especially at midday, because sunbathing is dangerous, and the usage of sunscreen is compulsory. Researchers predict people can’t go skiing to the Alps in 2050. There won’t be snow. There’re international organizations all over the world, such as WWF, which is the abbreviation of World Wide Fund and Greenpeace. A huge panda emblem symbolizes the endanger of panda. But there’re lots of endangered species not only panda but whales and African elephants, too. Huge pandas are kept in zoos in China because there’re only a few of them and the living conditions in the environment aren’t suitable Could I ask what the people will do to prevent global warming. Earth is getting more and more uninhabitable. Just think about the next generation. We shouldn’t destroy this planet before we die.
