Reading a book:

Advantages:

• improve your imagination
• improve your vocabulary
• books are more detailed
• you will be cultured

Disadvantages:

• It takes more time
• It’s harmful to your eyes

Watching a film:

Advantages:

• It’s easier to understand
• more understandable
• you needn’t imagine the plot/characters
• it takes less time
• It may have a subtitle (deaf people)

Disadvantages:

• It’s harmful to your eyes
