His life:

William Shakespeare was born in Stratford-upon-Avon on April 23, 1564. Son of a leather merchant and a glover, who very likely attended the local grammar school, but there is no proof whatsoever of him going to university. Despite the fact he may have not gone to university he is a very outstanding figure in English literature, due to the brilliance of his plays. He tied the knot with Anne Hathaway in 1582, and they shared 3 children.

There is no information of his whereabouts for the 7 years before documents show him making a name for himself. She became famous when his company was the most successful one in London. He had an extremely good reputation that the audience bought the "penny copies" as popular literature.

In 1599 the troupe built the Globe, which is an open-air theatre on the Southern bank of the Thames. In the Elizabethan times, all sorts of people went to the theatre the all-male cast performances. There are only a few people who were able to earn income by profiting their skills and talent, Shakespeare was of them. Business was good for him and he became a wealthy man. He retired around 1613 and died in Stanford, aged 52, on his birthday.
