Corvinus nyelvvizsga Test1 Writing Skill - B2

Task 1 - Segítség adó baráti levél:

Write a letter/e-mail of 140-160 words. Include each of the three points given.

Do NOT use your own name in your letter/e-mail!

You have received a letter (e-mail) from your teenage friend (Kitty/Kevin) in which you read the following:

Yesterday I was at a party and I think I lost my smart phone there. As it was muted, I could not find it by ringing it. The problem is that when I asked around, no one seemed to have seen it. What shall I do? This was a really expensive phone and it was a birthday present from mum and dad. I know they can’t afford to buy me another one any time soon.

Write a letter (e-mail) to your friend. Describe a similar situation in which you could not find your laptop and outline your opinion about the issue.

Write about:
  • where and how your laptop disappeared
  • how you tried to find it
  • what you suggest your friend should do

Task 2 - Olavsói levél (hivatalos):

Write a letter/e-mail of 100-120 words. Include each of the three points given.

Do NOT use your own name in your letter/e-mail!

You have read the following in the local newspaper:

Online sales continue to grow at about 10 percent each year. More than two-thirds of online buyers are age 25 to 54. Still, it might surprise many people that only about six percent of all retail sales are online, but that number continues to grow.

Write a reader’s letter to the editor of the newspaper (Mr Jenkins) in which you outline your opinion about the issue.

Write about:
  • the advantages and disadvantages of online shopping
  • how you feel about online shopping
  • what you (or your family) buy online
